Default Removed of life support....

I believe everything in life has its own beauty, its just a matter of our own prejudice, as how we view, and see it. Spring offers new life with its budding forth, summer, a sense of comfort and ease. Fall, it takes an honest assessment of truth, knowing of what was, has departed, and won't return in this life cycle......
Maturing in life, as we pass through it, colors our experience with richness that can only be found in that season.

With that in mind, I hope you can appreciate the beauty of what I'm sharing with you.....but please, feel free to add to my offering of thought, or compositions.

the noisy backgrounds (was that on purpose) on #1 and #3 really don't work for me.

but i really like #2. i think this one is compositionally the strongest as well with the nice arc across the diagonal from the stem to the prominent leaf point. i feel that a bit looser crop would have worked a little better. not much, just a little more room to get the whole stem and the tips of the leaf not quite as close to the edge. also, i like the dark presentation, it brings out the colors of fall and adds drama, but i think you could brighten it just a tad bit more (and i mean ever so slightly)

+1 Hards comment. Lovely shots, but you need an absolute black background backdrop. They're cheap and can help a lot for your close up picks.

Thanks guys....I know, I've been fighting trying to find one. I tried cloth, but it showed a pattern as well. This is just a poster board (paper) and it will really pick up lighting and magnify the fibers in it. I'm thinking I might just have to make my own.....

How about this background, does it look natural enuff

Try black velvet. The first shot would make a great vertical picture. Leaves falling. I like the gold and red you have processed.

Black velvet works well with flowers...Try it with the leaves...Like the colors with your shots...

I like them the noise does show but to me it adds to the colors in Number 1..They do fall to fast some times. Last year before I got hurt I tried to gain some falling the air and the leaf both have to have the same weight in a way for the fall to be soft enough to catch for shots...

As for the Natural Back ground thats as close one gets with a shot..
