Default Bit Rough

Hi, Taken on the East coast of Rhodesaround 1700Hrs , Canon 40D, 6.0 grad.

Incredible mixture of smooth and rough water. Except for the sickly color of the foreground rocks I really like this shot.

A bit alien looking foreground, but over all it is a well done photo. I find the feel of it very complete.

In the "for what it's worth, personal category" - I prefer the second one. The first one looks "over-processed" to me and my personal taste is for natural. The over-the-top processing can be effective sometimes, but I don't think it works with this shot. The second one looks a little bluer than perhaps it should, but it conveys a cold, windy, cloudy feel to the picture I think is appropriate. If you use Photoshop, try adding a warming photo filter adjustment layer to the second one and see what you think. I thought it was just enough to make it look nice, but it lost some of that cold feel to it.
