There is just something about this photo that i really like, but i don't really know why.
it's of my cousin (age 25) playing on his iphone right before thanksgiving dinner.

please let me know what you think.

(btw, before uploading the photo onto this forum, the phone/hands were tack sharp.)

That looks like the 50 1.4, and the forum tends to crunch photo. linking or embedding photos form flickr or photobucket give you much better results.

yeah, that's the 50 1.4. great lens. I have looked into starting a flickr account, but it takes a loooong time to upload photos... also, it will cost money for the amount of photos i'd want online. I have been using picasa which is free. Maybe ill take another look at flickr/photobucket.

To the untrained eye (which I have two of), i cant tell too much of a difference between the photos. I like the smaller format of the first one.....Frank

here is a cropped screenshot of the first photo using picasa as it's source:

Here is the cropped screenshot of the second version from Flickr:

The one from flicker is noticeably sharper, just look at that light area under the thumb. (Both are cropped the same amount.) i guess i'll stick with flickr!
