I visited the site, and really was impressed with Denise's artwork. Your editing and description of the pieces shows some thoughtfull input also. As far as the settings, some of those are actually very nice. The composition does not detract form the presentation as I thought it might. I was looking at it purely from what an individual picture was, (in my mind), supposed to look like. I can tell by the volume of things offered on the site that you can not have a great amount of time to set up.
The idea that I saw in your pics here with the reflective base for the product works well. Bynxs' use of foil looks to be an easy solution to achieve a good effect along those lines. I hope you don't ust it though for all the shots, as on your site I noticed a string of beads on the bottom of a vase which was nice and the mushrooms on the wood base worked well also. Sooo I don't know, but if all the shots are the same, I think it loses some pizzazz for displaying them. It may work well if you have a lot of them to do at a time, but I think relating ,(stageing),them with something that complements them is great too, especially if you have some that you really want to highlight, or that cost more. What does your wife think about your progress so far? Seems like her input would be invaluable as an artists' point of view. I wish I could be of more help, but I think you are doing great! Loved the site. Frank
The hardest part of accepting criticism is realizing I am not perfect.......
