Here is one I just shot off my balcony. The 3D works fine. I did find a site which Ive since lost which gave distances the camera should move laterally with a given distance to the subject. I moved the camera further than a couple inches for this since the closest object is 60 feet away.

Hi Bynx!

After crossing my eyes more than advisable.... I finally got to read the above recipe of "how to" - and it works!

Amazing how you can get 3 pictures of cinderalla -side-by-side, of which the middle one is in perfectly 3D !! great!

- The horse's head is incredible 3D!
- The second gun-picture scares me!

Thanks for a unique experience - I have to study this a bit more...

Best regards from Norway

I think 3D works best with clear-cut figurines etc. like the one's you have shown here. The Kiss-scene turns out the best yet - for my eyes anyway. Incredible clear-cut 3D with figures behind and in front of each others!!

I have tried for many minutes now to look at your #21-picture - the lanscape from your balcony. No can do - sorry! I just can't get my eyes to see any 3D-panel in the middle, as all the others - where I clearly can see 3 separat panels next to each other, left, right and the 3D in the middle. I can, after a while, actually focus on the middle one alone and the others are just faint shadows.

But this exercies does put some strain on the eyes, and your eyes will protest after a while - or maybe they will stay crossed...? (Bynx, you are exposing yourself to a multi-million $ lawsuit by asking members to try this! )

Thanks for the experience, Bynx - I'll have to read and study this phenomena.

I was able to get them all to work. It took me a minute since I was used to looking at the magic eye images that were popular 15 years ago. Definitely a slightly different process. Very cool.

The difficulty I think with my balcony shot is that the picture is wider so you must cross your eyes more to get the two images to converge. I even cut the original image size down since I was unable to cross my eyes enough to see the image. Its ok now.

I too am able to see the old magic eye images so it helps here. But at some point in time something happened so when I now look at a magic eye image it is backwards. Whats out in front is now the furthest away. So instead of seeing an object I see the object more as a big hole. Can you explain this?

Hi, Paul. I remember with magic eye, you're supposed to look "past" the page, not "before" the page. So I guess in your case, you started crossing your eyes at some point.

I find magic eye easier on the eyes because I don't cross my eyes. Rather the reverse, I spread my eyes' lines of vision apart.

But I find looking past something hard to do compared to looking before something. And last night, I felt nauseous going home after staring at your 3-D balcony. Still, I wanted more and was somewhat disappointed this morning not to see any new ones. It's addicting.
