Default 3D Stereoscope

I hope we can start a new addition called 3D Stereoscope. I gave this a shot tonite and it worked. It was really easy to do and if you are lucky enough to be able to cross your eyes to catch the 3D effect its really quite amazing. And it works for anything you can shoot. I encourage anyone to try this. Just shoot an object keeping the object to the left side of the viewfinder. Then move the camera laterally about 1.5 inches or so placing the object on the right side of the viewfinder then take the second image. In an editing program paste the image that was on the left side of the viewfinder on the left side of a canvas twice as wide as the photo. On the right half paste up the photo that was on the right side of the viewfinder. Thats it. Now concentrate, cross your eyes until the two images come together forming a third incredible 3D image.

Hey, a Viewmaster without the viewer- fun, but now how do I uncross my eyes?
My mother warned me they might stick that way, but I didn't believe her.

Doesnt work for me. No matter how hard I tried I came up with looking at two pictures or the white line in between.

Its hard to explain to someone how to control their body. It either comes easy or not. All I can say is look at the white line, then slowly cross your eyes and the white line will become two lines. The more you cross your eyes the further apart the lines until you can see a third image between the lines. That will be the incredible 3D image. Another method Ive read about is to stand about 3 feet from your monitor and stick your hand out finger up. Focus on the finger then without changing your focus move the finger out of the way. You should now see the 3D image on the screen.

Doing what? If its look at 3D images here is another one for ya. My computer monitor is showing the movie Return of the Jedi while Bobba Fett statue is out front taking a shot at Luke Skywalker.
