Default Abandoned house

Just saw this old abandoned hose by the side of the road while I was out driving one day. And I had to stop and take some pics.

So what do you guys think? Does the crop look alright? Cause I didn't know if I wanted to use the whole pic, or crop it abit..

I like the shot, but I'd be curious to see how it would look if it were cropped a bit tighter to get closer to the house. I'd keep the water in the frame at the expense of the sky.

What a lovely shot! I agree with Jim; I would crop out the partial tree to the left of the photo - and perhaps the tree next to it which would bring the house closer to the rule of thirds. The partial tree is distracting from the lovely scene IMHO.

Again - a very lovely shot.

.
My thoughts exactly. Nice texture to the photo though.

While liking the composition, the shot looks like the focal point is closer to the edge of the water rather on the house, Was this intentional?

Personally, I like it just the way it is.

Frank, hmm, no it wasnt intentional. And when I look at the original photo it everything seems to be in order. Maybe the rendering just made it look abit like that.. hmm..

Hoffam, thank you =)
