Default 2 shots of a Tiger

This is actually the same image, just croped and renderd differently.
Which one do you like the best, and what can I improve?

For myself I can't think of anything to criticize...

I actually like them both in different ways...

Great pose from the Tiger...!

Istvan,
The first one I like the color, nice throughout but when cropped like this it looks like the tiger is avoidiing the left edge of the frame or something. The second one just doesn't work, with the tiger in color and nothing else, I think it is either a B/W or color shot with this setting and composition. Frank

Wizzard, thank you very much =)
Frank, okey I see. Do you think that the second pic would look better in colour than the first one?

Best regards

I really like the crop of the second one, and the color in the first one. I'd say keep the color for the second one, and you'd have a winner!

yea, I agree with ewheeler, I was going to say #1 because of the colors, but the second one in color would be better.

Very nice pics! I agree with ewheeler also, only would add that you should zoom in closer to the tiger like you did in the first pic, but have him on the right side of the pic not the left. Again, nice capture.

I like them both. Each has a certain charm. :-)

Great pick. I would like to see the second crop in colors, like other people said. The tiger is too much to the left in #1.
