Default Why I love the Pacific Northwest....

Is the sky.
I have lived and visited many places, but I have never seen a sky so active, it changes minute by minute.....This shot from last week just one example. If you look way off on the horizon, you see the low clouds hanging above Kitsap and Olympic peninsula, and a few of those low moisture laden gray clouds skirting across the sound. Above you have some pretty fierce winds blowing the higher clouds off the pacific at a good eastward clip, sweeping up some moisture and providing a prism effect with some color. Then look at the surface of the water, pretty calm for all that energy above it.....
I can never stop looking and watching this never ending show

Outstanding Eddie, simply a beautiul picture! I am not sure you posted this in the right section, it should be filed under the really great pictures section. But since you posted it here, I'll bite. Something disturbing about the black spot on the lower right section of the photo. I find myself trying to figure out what it is, but that is about the size of it......

Of course you know this will change my computer background again EH?
