Default Reaching the Skies

The shots I have seen people post in this forum are just amazing. But unless I post my shots and get an honest critique it will be hard to improve my shots.

Please feel free to give an honest critique and how to improve shots.

I love the colors especially of the buildings. But I'd like to see more detail in the clouds. One way to do this is to use a tripod and take a second shot this time with a faster shutter speed so you are essentially metering for the clouds. Since the foreground is composed mostly of straight lines (building outlines as opposed to say, tree outlines), you should be able to easily select it from the first shot (above) using a quick selection tool and paste it on the second that was metered for the clouds. This, in a nutshell, is what HDR does. But with your shot, I think two exposures will do well. I love the composition, BTW.

Yep. The clouds are blown out. Pitty. HDR will solve it. Composition is nice with the circular building out center.
