Going minimalist and bichromatic (almost). What do you think. Over processed?

I like it. The only hint of color (blue sky) being off center to me adds to the quiet, nostalgic feeling where color isn't really important.

Ditto, I really like it. It has a calming influence. Never see our beaches that quiet...then again, we wouldn't have Mavericks!

Ordo, I'm sorry to say that I don't see anything much happening here. The composition is too 50/50 for me, it is not clear what our focus is meant to be which makes it more like a snap compared to what has been seen from you in the past. The sky seems to have some interest but we just can't see enough of it.

Have to agree with you Mark. Almost no content, no story at all...
I need to focus on portraits. That's my next thing. Oh well...

Don't let one image put you off a specific thing

submarine racing! hehehe just kidding. it's not over processed. composition is too centered as mark said, but i like the lack of color vibrance in your shot and just a hint of blue amongst the clouds, like the black is swallowing all the colors slowly. reminds me of what you would call "the calm before the storm" great shot.

Having the water monochromatic with the sky being blue is very unbalanced. I think that the entire shot should have been B&W.
