Out In CA we see them a lot...the only thing I have seen questioned is by a podiatrist and that is there isn't any support...it IS like walking barefoot. That said I would like to try them...if I don't feel the street beneath my feet, tenderfoot. Oh, and I Would HAVE TO HAVE Claws put on the toes and Heel for climbing...it would be the rage!!!!!

No support at all, just a bit of protection on the soles against small punctures you might otherwise get. Not recommended for pavement, but these are comfortable around the house and on natural ground or grass.
