Default Morning Pasture

Had a chance to get a few pictures from my father-in-law's pasture in the morning. It was so peaceful and hoped it transfered well to the picture. Looking for some feedback on improving the shot for when I get a chance to try again.

It looks out of focus to me. I think using a polarizer filter would have saved this shot. There is some lens flare in the upper right.

Thank you donp. The focus was/is driving me crazy with it. On the full size image, it doesn't look as bad but still wasn't what I expected/thought I had. You also answered my question about what the white spot was on the upper right.

good attempt but seems like a snapshot to me. I would say a good exercise is to crop this image in different ways and see what you like the best. try focusing on the structure and fill your frame with that. good luck.
