Thanks Simon. Im not so thrilled with the left one either. I got some glare on there from the bright sky. I tried my best to include both kinds of flowers in the pot. At 3 in the morning I brought the pot inside and shot the daffy dill lit with a flashlight. Its in some other part of the site.

I think both shots are too dark. The 2nd is my fav. I like seeing the front and back of the flower but where do you want your viewers eyes to go? nice water drops.

It was a pretty dreary day superdash which accounts for the lack of brilliance. As to where the eyes are to go, well thats up to the viewer. Its not like you have a big choice. You look at the flower. And you can look at the back if you wish. I can understand your question if there was some garbage in the way or some stuff that just interfered with the view, but its pretty straight forward, dont you think?

I like the first shot best. The p.o.v is great, and the light coming from the left along with the water drops on the pink tulip, gives it a feeling of stepping out into a garden wet with dew first thing in the morning.
The flowers look good in the second pic but the trees in the background are too dark and distracting.

Thanks Tika. The first shot reminds me of Honey I Shrunk the Kids. The shots were taken during a rain, thus the dreary light.
