Default River

Took a photo of a river using a tree stump as my tripod. Used 1/3 of a second I'm pretty sure. The only problem is the rocks are blurry too. How do I fix this? Even with a tripod it will do the same. Do I need a remote?

The camera obviously moved but you can often get away with using the timer so it has time to settle down after you press the button.

Oh Yeah! I didn't even think of the timer but like I said I had no tripod yesterday so if I didn't hold it it would drop in the water.
