Default Theyam

Here I would like to emphasis the photographic subject. It was night and using the Lumix FZ40 meant that I had to use flash each and every single time and the flash on the camera was really poor to get good results. I have a few high ISO shoots but they are good for nothing.

It's a shame about the limitations of the camera. I can tell, even in this shot, that the colors are amazing. Has the image been cropped? I would like to see more of the adornments around the face...especially above.

Yeah the image has been cropped. here is another image depicting most of the head dress but its not exactly a good image. The actual head dress is more than 5 meters high so its difficult to incorporate the whole thing in a single image especially with such a large crowd around.

the first is great and im sure by processing it will be even greater .... maybe boost the colour and add a little clarity? very nice

Its amazing. Hang that on a wall and people will stop and stare. The technical shortcomings can't detract from the power of the image.

thanks everyone for your valuable comments, normally I don't attend functions where these performers act, but your comments have encouraged me to take more of their photos.
