The composition has an interesting pattern, but the flower head beneath seems a bit distracting, fighting for attention and making the viewer wonder what the subject is. I wonder if a person could drop the color from the flower head in PS to diminish it's presence, or perhaps replace the color with a light green. The paper-thin depth of field gives a pleasing out of focus effect to the perimeter seeds - very cool!

Having taken lots of dandilions, I would expect the brown head, think it would look strange if it wasn't there (unless you got a lot closer/more macro and that's hard to do). It's quite sharp and that accentuates the "fireworks" feel of the seed heads. I'm on a poor monitor at work that's not calibrated (and shouldn't be making comments about pictures because of that) but I thought there was a slight color cast to the picture - would be interested in what others think who can tell better than I can. Other than the slight possible color cast (perhaps a reflection of my monitor rather than the picture), I think it's very good, I like it very much!

Add me for liking the original better. I don't think its a picture that needs a vignette.

Truer words were never spoken! You can do a lot with pp, both good and bad. And what one person likes, another will hate.
