Default Another flower arrangement

My wife's garden is now in full bloom. Here is an arrangement of her's from yesterday. C&C welcome.

I'm not sure why, but they look fake. maybe its the lighting?

The second shot is better, IMHO. I think because the hydrangea breaks up all the roses and the colors. It also lets you see the prime, in my opinion roses, the top apricot one and the three bottom ones, apricot and double color pink and white...plus the perfect hydrangea. Hmm, the yellow one on left is very nice too...oh, darn all the roses are nice...love roses, but this comp is best.

I really like the floral arrangement, but find the plush red background a bit strong — like it is competing with the flowers.

+1 on this point. #2 is my pick because it doesn't have the shadow created by the flash. Nice detail, though. I've taken the liberty to do a VERY quick smudge & blur on the background. See what you think.
