Default Boats docked at night

I took this tonight and really liked it. Let me know what you think.

G'day Phil

I like the image & its deep blue colour - makes it seem very 'dark and night-like'
I wonder - the foreground of rocks etc does not do much for my eyes - I wonder what it would look like to crop it out and just have a bit of water and the reflections close to the boats??

If you like the idea, how about cropping it and showing us the difference
Regards, Phil

Okay mate - yeah close to what I had in mind

I had thought as follows ...

Hope this helps

Phil I really like the colors in your image. I also like the lights from the boats and the look of the sky. I agree with Ozzie Traveler about the diagonal shoreline being a distraction. I'm not crazy about the crops though. I think if you had gone to the edge of the shore and shot from close to the surface of the water it would have made for a more dramatic shot.
