Default Still Life?

Walking along the beachfront after a shoot I was glancing around, as usual, for other interesting subjects. I saw this guy and his faithful companion lying on the grass area next to the pier. Obviously, there's a story there, but I wasn't about to disturb their seemingly sad moment. Maybe a fitting shot for the old saying "Misery loves company"?

I am new to photography but I really liked the picture taken. The best part what I liked is the composition, especially the wall behind which makes you stop seeing beyond and concentrate on the person and the dog lying on the ground (the subject of course).

A really well taken image.

I see two dogs, and they look like they're not about to let anything happen to the other arm
