What a lucious colour the rose is! Love the contrast between dark green leaves, deep red/maroon petals and the black background.

I'm not sure if it's me - but it appears a bit soft.

Still a lovely shot.

Sorry I can't help with the rose name, I'm not a rose expert!

Nicely done. The lighting, the water on the petals. It looks to me like the focus point may have been on the leaf in the lower left of the frame but it doesn't hurt the image in my opinion. Nice capture.

Its the "Midnight Blue".

Its a hybrid of Rosa rugosa genus, mainly blooms in the months of May-Sep with a very dark black velvet like appearence.

The picture is so nice that, I can smell the fragrance till hear.
