Default Right place, right time

Hello friends

My parents travelled about 2000km to visit me (as they live in Tasmania, and I live in South Australia). They stayed for 2 weeks.

During our time, we went for a 3 day (long weekend) holiday - this was 3 weeks ago.

Here is one of my favourite photos from that weekend. As the sun was setting (over to the west of course), a rainbow came out over this east facing beach. I felt 'wow' what a beautiful composition... so great I was right there at that time!

Comments welcome.

Paul

Hi Banksy

Thanks for your kind comment. Yes, I was so 'smiley' with the timing of the rainbow and low sun profile, giving that clear sharp and contrast feeling to this photo.

This was taken at the tip of the Yorke Peninsula - in the Innes National Park (about 4 hours drive from Adelaide).

The Yorke Peninsula coastline is quite similar to the Limestone coast. I was at the Limestone coast in November 2010.. Here are some of my photos from that time: http://picasaweb.google.com/1974.pau...eCoastNov2010#

Regards

Paul

Very nice shots of the Limestone coast Paul. Planning to head there on our next visit to South Oz.
