Default Experiment with FZ50

There is nothing special about this picture, exept that it was taken out of a dirty, scratched, train window, that gives you some idea as to the distance from the flower, it was taken in preparation of shooting an object further up the line, unfortunately the train stopped in the wrong place. any comments?

G'day grounded

Pretty typical of many of my grab shots of similar subjects - so "it's okay mate"
cc- I have found that with subjects like this, the meter is influenced by the %age of shadows and balances this by slightly increasing the exposure - thus creating a slight degree of over exposure for the main subjec

I sometimes shoot [things like this] with AEB set to +/- 2/3 EV and thus the -2/3EV image has better delineation of the pink flower vs the green leaves surrounding the flower

Hope this helps a bit ...
Regards, Phil
