Nice capture! The shot looks like the focus hits at the leading rail leaving the kids slightly out of focus, but it looks right on flickr. The composition is awesome, especially for a candid like this - rule of thirds verticals, the tree in the background provides some diagonals to draw the viewer to the subject without looking like it grows out of the kids' heads because of the bokeh, the slide in front for context... a wall hanger for sure.

I've learned to appreciate such things, but if I could just take a picture like this...

Thanks for the commits and complaints. I didn't spot that focus on the front rail, good catch, not sure why I missed that rail in PP. Will go back into PS and see if I can soften the front rails just a little. Or I could make up something like ("would you believe", I liked Get Smart) the kids were suppose to look soft as they were walking off into the distance. j/k The little girl is my granddaughter (even if I'm not old enough to have a granddaughter) helping a little boy who was crying about going down the slide.

Re-did the PP of the picture posted to soften up the rails and slide. I agree it looks better with the additional PP. Next time thought I will remember to rename the photo before reposting so both the original and edited version are in the thread, instead of posting over the original photo.

Thanks for the tips.
