Camera: Canon Rebel T3i
shutter: Bulb
F/16
ISO:100

To create the light:
External flash
hand-held flashlight (LED)
fiber optic toy (for flame)

PS: The only thing that was added in photoshop is the tattoo design behind the subject

That's the norm for this site. You want feedback? OK.

Nice diagonal line down his arm, to his torso and then to the tribal tattoo.

Is that fireball thing the painting with light, or does it include his tattos? The fireball is a fail because it looks 2D. If it's supposed to be some form of energy that manifests as 2D then it's a win. But his finger shadows are a fail If the fingers are between fireball and camera then there should be no shadow, if they're behind fireball then they should not be visible.

Face lighting is classic position for the sinister look. Chin is way too bright in relation to the rest of his face, his left eye is both too dark and obscured by his hand.

Nipple is way too predominant, it distracts attention from the fireball/face area.

Image size exceeds posting guidelines.

To be honest, it does very little for me. It's neither technically nor artistically compelling. You will also have to let me know what your definition of "light painting" is.
