Default Fountain at the Mall

Horizontal or vertical perspective. Which do you prefer?

And, what do you think of the shots in general?

Horizontal for me- nice balance of exposure with the entrance not blowing out- and I'm not sure about the borders..!

Horizontal and I'm not sure about the frame border either.... the way it changes the color at the very top of the frame throws my eyes off.......

Hoizontal for me. The vertical one may work if it was centered. I also think I would have peferred a slower shutter speed to capture the stream of water vs. freezing it.

The first one is my choice but both are very good.

Horizontal also for me, Walter

Though I do like the closer water detail captured in ther vertical.

I think the somewhat brighter colours in the horizontal also add as a positive.

It's a great detailed photo (1st one) - bordering on the 'almost too busy'... so there's some photographic tension there for me... however not too distracting.

Thanks for sharing. Nice fountain btw

Paul
