Default Little corner in a Japanese Garden.......

In our city is a small Japanese Garden, which is very peaceful.

A lovely setting, indeed. Unfortunately, the underexposed bush in the lower left corner is distracting. Moving a bit to the right would have made for a better photograph.

Agreed with the above and maybe even fill the frame with the pond as I find the background to be a bit of a mess.

Default Start of the Show

Garden designers tempt the visitor to stop at certain places and enjoy a particular view. At each point there should be a "star of the show" surrounded by the rest of the garden as the supporting cast.

This garden has several potential stars, the lantern in the pond, the pine tree left of center, the flowers, etc. I would think about how each of those could be presented in a picture.

The mood of this picture is peaceful and beautiful, but it covers so much of the garden it's hard to focus on any one feature.

Thank you all for your replys, I do agree with you, and next time, I am visting this garden, I will keep in mind, your replys, and take a better photo of the pond, or just the pond.

Very pretty picture, don't care for the bush in the lower left corner and the sky is a bit blown out.
