Default Another sunset.....

As we live opposite the beach, it is easy, just to step out the frontdoor, to take photo's of sunsets, which are mostly so very beautiful here, this photo even has a plane flying on the way to the airport.

Default Sun set

I liked the pic. On my screen it appeared to be pixelated at the bottom,
Please don't be offended, I did a crop.
How about showing us " The Green Flash"

Thank you rle, I am absolute not offended, quite the opposite, and your cropping of the photo makes it much better.

But what is a "Green Flash" ?

Hi Griddi, the green flash is an event that sometimes happens as the sun sets over the ocean or a large body of water. As the sun sets below the horizon the light is refracted thru the atmosphere and a green flash appears. Having been on a ship for the USN, I got to see a lot of sun sets over the ocean, and a few of them had a green flash.

Thank you rle, I know now a bit more, but I think I have not seen a green flash, but will keep my eye's open from now on.
