Default Arigna Valley at Sunset

Image of Arigna Valley at Sunset (Co Roscommon). Scene looks peacefull but it was very windy and cold. As I didnt do a great job with the exposure ( need to get some graduated filters and learn how to use them), this image has a fair bit of processing. Pano composed of 4 images. Sky Dodged and burned. Duplicate high contract layer mask added to give contrast to the land in the distance. normal amounts of sharpening and noise reduction applied.

It looks a bit sharper and brighter (punchy) in my photoshop file than in this flickr jpg, i put that down to flickr processing.
All critique accepted and appreciated.

It looks pretty good, composition is nice, but I prefer landscape shots with blue skies, to me the overcast sky gives a feeling of sadness, cold and decay.

Also, that area of darkened grass on the right is a bit distracting.

Thanks, blue skies are rarely an option in the west of Ireland. I've long since accepted that, otherwise I'd never get any landscape shots!

I did try cropping the image higher and more to the right but it just didn't work.

Thanks for the feedback.

The light is really nice in your photograph. Nothing wrong with an overcast sky. Adds drama to the scene. I would make the sky a wee bit darker....
