Default Which Appeals More?

The first rendition was sharpened a bit. The second was post processed using the latest version of a Picassa mode called HDR-ish.

As a PIX, #1 would be the choice as it is most realistic. However, as usual, it depends on context. For example, #2 might work best if used in the right kind of a brochure or poster (eg, with suitable text font, companion graphics and background, etc.).

I prefer 1, but it seems a bit over sharpened. I an see graininess in the fuselage as well as jagged edges on various parts of the aircraft.
