Default Pumpkin

Just got the new puppy. It takes work for me to get a good face/eye photo. I used PS on this one. Comments are welcome and needed. Thanks for any help.

Cute lil guy. The photo is soft. Always focus on the eyes.

I did, but I did not use a flash. I had to do stuff in PS to bring out her eyes. I have found I always need a flash with her. Thanks for you comment.

With a pix like this one, it pays to try some of the simple cookie cutter adjustments available in your photo processor (in my case PS2). Such procedure takes an insignificant investment (work and time) and sometimes results in some pleasant surprises.

This rendition uses the simple color variations cookie cutter to cut the highlights and increase the saturation. Ive reduced the size of the image which often results in some additional clarity.
