Default Late night shot

Freshman, learning. Shot outside home at late night. Three shots -1.66/0/1.66 blended w/ gimp. Camera is LX5. Thanks.

G'day panny

I can see 2 sides to your image - the camera side + the pp side
may I cc the camera side > I'll leave the pp / hdr to those who use this technique

I like the tranquility of your image - your housing estate I presume: good use of lighting, good camera angle slightly off-centre for the access roadway still allows it to be an excellent leading line into the centre / background of the image.

I would be inclined to erase most of the foreground - it is not exciting me / it does not contribute any visual information that helps me with a 'wow' factor > pushing the scroll bar up/down while looking at the image I keep stopping with the words "fire lane" just inside the photo.

Thank you for the nice feedback. I agree. Instead of removing all the way up to the 'fire lane', I stopped sooner - that gives a little symmetry between the sky at the top and the road at the bottom.
