Default Thoughts of Newtown...and an ancient promise

As I gazed on this scene through my lens night before last my thoughts went to those who have suffered that terrible tragedy. I then was reminded of a snippet of Old Testament Scripture, which I looked up...and thought that it matched the mood. C&C welcome. Sorry for the double post.

Gday Walter

Another of your beautiful images of a beautiful world

and yes, it is extremely sad to have that beautiful world disturbed & our enjoyment destroyed by stupidity and violence

From the great land downunder, many, many people here are both extremely saddened and heartbroken from this tragic event, yet another mass killing via a military weapon in civilian hands. It is something that we down here, cannot understand how it can ever be allowed or justified by society itself

My heart goes out to you, walter and others here for the emotional tussle you will be experiencing here & now in trying to create a solution so that this never can happen again
Regards, Phil
