This is what I meant the top part has no interesting feature whereas the rest of the lower rope belt would have been ideal

Thank you, Calicajun. I have already taken quite a few with my 18-200mm but remembered I had a fast 50mm fixed lens which was great for indoor shots so was particularly happy with the last two and posted them here for critiques and comments. With the tips and techniques I'm getting I'm glad I did.

NHL, ah, I see now. That is a much better crop. Thank you.
