Default An Aussie Black Cockatoo does more than screech

G'day all

The garish squaarking & screeching of the Aussie cockatoos is legendary, as is their abilities to eat the new growth at the top of trees and let the detrius fall to the ground below. It drives many home gardeners quite barmy

This bloke is typical of many of them

exif- Fuji X-s1; 1/400s x f8,0; lens at max zoom, 625mm [ff equiv] then cropped 50%; iso-800

When I lived in Queensland these wonderful albeit noisy birds were always a sign of rain and quite usually right.
