Default Frozen Tundra of Lake Erie

I took this at the tip of Point Pelee. I'm not quite satisfied, I feel like something is missing... (i.e., the ice could use more detail)?

Depending on what photo processing software you might want to add some selective blue and green saturation to the ice. Try adding some contrast and shift white balance towards blue.

Here's what I got out of it. I don't know if this is the look your trying to achieve. It's just one of many possibilities.

As lomitamike suggests- the editing options are endless... depending on the look you're after- though a pretty featureless sky to begin with kinda limits your options to a degree...!
My take was to pull the highlights down,a bit of selective shadow burning on the ice, a boost of the green channel for the ice and a colour balance shift from cyan to red...

It's a fairly dramatic photo, but the near monochrome look tames it down.
I started by increasing saturation by 70%, then applying a touch of USM and lowering the midtones.

All very interesting take on the OP picture. Not sure which version I like the best.

Thanks very much! They all look very good, but I think I like your idea Simon40
