Default Huntington Beach

Had a extra couple of hours while visiting my mom today, so I went down to the pier at Huntington Beach, CA.

hi heres my view 1 i would have moved my position more to the right so that guy didn't have a pole out of his head, also that would enable less sky to be shot. 2 I think its the background that lets this down. sorry but on my monitor the sky isn't adding to anything

Never noticed the tree coming out of his head. Not sure how I missed a seeing the tree. Should have move around some as you suggested for in camera fix.

The sky was very overcast and gray, only in camera fix I can think of that may have added some color to the sky would have been a CPL filter.

I tried a little PP on both pictures.

"take out the blue and white tape behind him on the beach"
Do you mean the Volleyball net or the blue trash cans or both items?

Well we plan on going back down to Huntington Beach, CA in a couple of weeks. Will make sure to leave enough time to hit the pier and do a re-shoot and hopefully the weather will be better this time along with my shooting.
Thanks for looking and the helpfully suggestions.

Craig
