Default Working Girl

Went out shooting after work and found what looked like the night shift starting to work.

Actually, very interesting. Looks like both a very scenic as well as fun place to be.

I should have given the location of the shot but for some reason I forgot to give the location. So I'll post another picture for a hint as to the location.

As to the picture posted of the hotel, for some reason I can't get the fence rail cloned out. Each time I try cloning out the fence the color is way off, tried Content Aware also but it doesn't work on the fence at all. Only thing I can think of is in LR5 I use the Luminance slider to add a little blue to the sky and maybe that adjustment is confusing the clone tool. Any thoughts on this cloning problem?

Oh, here is the hint.

Ive been there once a long time ago. I think the people were the original inhabitants. It was on the drive from San Francisco to Las Vegas. Now they call it Calico Ghost Town. If this is the rail you are talking about Craig, I adjusted the sky and took out that magenta and some yellow. Then it cloned out easily. Im sure it would look better on the hi res original.

You are one of the masters, thanks. I will work on the original and see what I can do.

Thanks,
Craig

Nice Shot Calicajun. Cute dancehall gal there. Been to Calico a few times when I worked at Goldstone Tracking Station on the Surveyor Program. Also been in your neck of the woods when I worked at AF plant 42 in the mid 50's. Is the bottle house still standing in Calico?

Not sure she was suppose to be a dance hall girl, then again they did do double duty back in those days. Yes, the glass bottle house is still there and in good shape too. Now the glass house is use to sell fancy dog treats and supplies. Think we took a picture of the glass house. I will look in the files and post it if we did get in a picture.
Plant 42 is where I have been working for the last nine years. Plant still looks the same as it has from the 80's just the planes inside have changed.

Thanks for looking,
Craig
