There is a pub in London called Ye Olde Cheshire Cheese. There is a sign on it that says REBUILT IN 1666 after the great London fire. In North America we cant imagine a building that old since the whole continent's immigrated population isnt that old. Greece is older than dirt and so while to a North American that door and wall look pretty old, by Greek standards it could have been built as recently as a couple hundred years ago. Being old is relative to who is looking at it. Something old to a Greek is certainly different than something old to a North American. I hope this clarifies a bit of my humorous take on an old Greek door.
