Nice composition and POV in this one. I would lighten up the trees on the right a little.

I like the composition as well. However the completely unnatural colors don't work for me.

Hate to ruin your day John but the colors were what came off my Minolta Macro.
No post processing was done other than a minor sharpening, Crop, and resizing to the constraints of this forum. The natural colors of rural Texas are just that beautiful.

You asked for opinions and you got them. I agree with John that the colors are not right. Maybe you should calibrate you monitor.

keep in mind straight out of camera doesnt necessarily mean picture perfect. There is something odd going on with the image. Too much contrast and the colors are too vibrant. The bush on the right is just too black.

I checked my camera settings and found the sharpening and contrast were set to high. Thanks, my 80 year old eyes fooled me.

Nice picture and the colors look good to me but then I'm from Louisiana and colors just look brighter out our way.
