Default Hydrangea

I was carrying my dog (that's her idea of a walk) and saw this and thought could be nice snap. Not sure what kind of flower it is but it seemed ready to have a photo taken.

Hey Dig.. I envy you the ability to carry your dog for a walk. At 100+ lbs., King walks me.

That is a Hydrangea. I grow these in my yard. The pink color comes from an alkaline soil. In an acidic soil, they are bright blue, all depends on the PH of the soil.

Ahh..thanks for the info. There were a bunch of these so I figured I would take a shot.

Yes 100 pound dog would be difficult to carry. My dog is about 8 pounds. She is funny in that she will walk for a while then stop and try to jump in my arms. Once I pick her up she seems very content to go wherever I want to take her.

I am not sure it gives her the exercise she needs but as least I get some and it helps me when I walk up someone's driveway to take a picture. Everybody thinks she is cute.

Nice shot, I like the lighting on the pedals.
