IMO to stay will the low/spot light and shadow was more correct, and DE-emphasis on the background/foreground would be to stay with the mood of the shot... So here's a B&W version with that in mind.

This has become a popular enough thread that I may dig up the NEF file for y'all to play with!

As an aside, the shot I posted here was heavily edited. I pushed the saturation, likely a touch far (most of the edits so far have toned it back a touch), and I did need to add a slight artificial vignette around the shot. Lighting in this space was absolutely awful due to the room being so narrow (and I did not own softboxes at the time, which would have helped me control the light better than with my umbrellas).

Thanks conor. I'm still learning like everyone else. I think the more you experiment and play around with the controls in the editing software you have, the more familiar you will become with it and then start to get the results you want.

musket, I've been playing in Photoshop for years, since PS6 was released, I don't mean CS6, I mean VERSION 6. I still can't touch your eye or talent.

https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B0o...ew?usp=sharing

Put it on my Google drive.
Original NEF file.
If you can't access, let me know and I'll play with security.

Have fun with it!!

Well I requested the file . I'll have a look at it, not that i can do anything with every file only a few have potential, I think that dropbox which is free up to a point, is best for sharing large files, rather than Google but maybe the copyright is what you're concerned about.

BTW Your first post reminded me of the Pop Art of Andy Warhol.

It says>>> You need permission

No email received as yet...Maybe it's been hit by lightning lol http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/technology-33989384

an example of dropbox easy sharing https://dl.dropbox.com/s/czxot2qw3it...1_DxO.jpg?dl=0

......Update I can view it now.. Downloaded it as a 5Mb NEF file..'Doesn't have an exif attached' and seems to have been saved by picasa and is not the original camera NEF file
