I'm thinking that your software is likely not able to properly view an NEF file (from what I've been able to tell, there's an embedded JPG in NEF files that's used as the thumbnail - Even without the Nikon NEF plugin installed, IrfanView can still open the files, though at a much lower quality than the NEF itself - at least, that's what I remember)

Edit: Did the emailed copy of the original NEF work differently from the Google posted / DropBox posted copies?

Same point stands - When I convert from NEF, I maintain the EXIF.
I'm guessing that's why you could see that one, but not this one (on the NEF file)

GUH! Maybe Google screwed with it when I put it on my Google Drive... that would explain "Picasa" being involved, even though I've never had Picasa installed.

Wow. What a learning experience! I feel like a complete idiot!

Take your time with it, do whatever you want to it, whenever you want

(This has turned into a rather "productive" work day... lol)

Dropbox works best. Google is limited to 25Mb. Unless Google has a large file method of sending as well. But if that is true there are obviously glitches. That last colorized B&W is top notch Musket. That washed out skin on the model is gone and looks good now.

Ok after seeing the NEF file I see there was lots of details that were blown in post processing. Its a really nice shot Conor.
