Default Which one is the overall best?

I am torn over choosing which one to make a 20x16 print from. My daughter-in-law has a birthday coming and loves butterflies.

My choice would be the first. The lateral view seems better overall, and in the others, the butterfly's head is partially obscured by the legs.

I like the first one because as VTphotog says the head is clear of obstructions, I like the colour of the butterfly in the third one, but prefer the second one overall because of the background. Sorry, not really much help.

The choice was easy for me. Number one, the main reason being the butterfly's head is clear (of legs) in the first shot. Good composition as well.

Thanks friends, I was also leaning toward number 1 and will use it for the print.

Colours are all a bit overwhelming, I have to study for a while to separate the subject from the background. I suppose as prints they would look a lot different though, I think the background on the third one is more to my taste though.

G'day mate

I feel that #1 better shows the environment as well as the insect - tho the others would make good jig-saw puzzles if you offered them to those companies

#1. Legs aren't blocking the eyes.
