Hi All,

Itravelled to Lam Dong province, the central highlands of south Vietnamlast Saturday for the wedding of my wife's relative. Yesterday, we went to sight-seeing a waterfall near home and I took this photousing my Canon PowerShot S500 manual setting: ISO set auto, exposure -1, white balance daylight. However, I don't like the sky (on the top of the photo) as it is quite too bright? However, I did not have much chance since it was ten o'clock and the sun wasabout on the top of our heads. Note that now it isdroughty on thehighlands and people are struggling with water supply. They are praying for rains.

Your comments and techniques welcomed.

Regards,

Quan

Another very striking picture. Nice detail thoughout. Considering the time of day, and where you are, I wonder how much you could improve the brightness of the sky without sacrificing detail in the foliage, or waterfall. It does look a bit bright, (the sky) but the trade off is the gorgeous colors and beauty of the shot overall. Best regards, thanks for posting...
