A success at dramatic landscape, rather. The original is fine, as are the crops shown. This is a picture with enough interest to support varied ways of cropping and display. I tried cropping to a horizontal 8x10 aspect and came up with this.

Your post processing seems to be just right, without seeing the original. Of course it is the final image that counts.

In case you are curious, here is the original image full frame with no processing. It took me many variations before I arrived at what I first posted above. At first, I wasn't bold enough and didn't push the image. I'm glad that I finally did stretch beyond the original.
