I didn't mean for you to take it down, I was just paying you a compliment.

Or were you just washing your hat ? :-)

Now I am confused. Prior to my post about your Avatar, I could see a different image being used as your avatar. Shirt , tie and no hat. That was the whole point of my post.

You say you didn't take it down (and return your original avatar) ?????????????????????????????????????????????????? ??????

Nope...I didn't take it down. I'm still wearing a blue shirt and tie. :-) Hold down your Ctrl key and click the refresh button at the same time. That should update the temp file on your computer.

Great photo, mikevet and awesome edit work, Rodney.

I just cropped a bit to add an "anthropomorphic ponder factor."

Thanks! I like your crop.

Since the majority of tones in this image are light colors, darker elements will stand out. With this in mind, can we agree that the dark blue border of your edited version effectively lead the viewer to the edges of the frame? :-)

Here is your cropped version with a white border for comparision.

Very nice, Rodney.

Yes, I agree. By "placing" eagle at Right of pic looking left it gives the impression that eagle is surveying his domain...which...indeed, he is!

If I could, I would have done a red-white-blue (inner to outer) frame!

:-):-)

Thanks for your edit and comments. Yes, this is the original pic. New to this forum, the pic was only resized to 62K. It looks much better when at the original size and tweaked in photoshop. I have it displayed in my veterinary hospital and everyone wants a copy. Problem is, I never saved the tweaked one! ( Again, new at this game. )The pic was resized in win xp e-mail. Would like to know of a program to resize andCOPY the original to 250 KB and save the original as is.

Thanks for your help,

Mike
