Rodney, you are obviously an expert.

I'm very impressed with what you did with the photo.

I hope I can achieve that one day.

If you are going to get fancy and create distracting borders for your images, then you should consider a mat or buffer between the image and the distracting elements to pull the viewer into the image rather than out to it's edges. Here is a sample of what I mean.

Welcome to the forum, Mr Peabody!

I'm no expert, but I do have a good understanding of how light affects a scene. Once you understand the main ingredient(light) you can take better pictures and easily enhance them.
