It must be the photographer in us. Everything must lead to a point of interest without distraction in my dress and my photographs. I'm well coordinated right down to the undies. :-)

All cameras are not created equal so it really depends on the camera. Of course, you'll always lose sharpness when you modify the original size of the image.
