Ok, this is a 60% segment enlargementof ashot I took earlier today.

I just wanna see if anyone can tell me what it is, and basically how long it takes to get the correct answer.

The shot is a bit blurred, I apologise for that, insparation hit, and I took it quickly.

Looks like the core of some kind of melon or tropical fruit.... say, a Guava.

Am I even close?

Well, if I can only take one guess, it would have to be a papaya, although with the way it looks, I'm either wrong, it's rotten or your white balance is way off.

Poppy seeds and a Sesame seed on a Bagel.

By the way this was my first intuition, but the sesame seed looks curiously devoid of surface features. Could be just the image compression.

kung-fu-alien, as you, like me, are in the UK, I would suggest rather than any of the exotic fruits like Guava, Papaya, head lice, (don't our American cousins eat some strange fruit :G), It could be Bread & Butter pudding which, along with spotted dick, is one of our more fanciful culinary delights. Along with the berrys that looks like a grape (peeled ?) in the middle. It doesn't look like a fruit with seeds as they are not embedded, but sitting on the surface.

I like this game.
